Queens College opened in 1937 with 26 faculty members and a hand-selected student body of 400. Since then, it has grown to become one of the premier senior colleges of the City University of New York, offering more than 70 undergraduate majors and graduate studies in over 100 degree programs and certificates. Queens College alumni number approximately 160,000, with backgrounds and careers as diverse as the borough itself. This collection highlights a small but ever-growing selection of their stories.
