And then after six years, I was promoted to be the Assistant Director of the Central Library. And after eight years, I was promoted to be the Director of Community Library Services. In two years before, in I believe March 15, the Queens Library along with all the other agency [unclear] we closed a few months because the pandemic. But even though we closed, under my leadership, the Central Library, on the second day, we providing the virtual reference immediately on the second day. And then starting last year, I believe December, we opened our full service, meaning virtual program, in-person reference, and you name it. So any customer can come to the Queens Library, the Central Library, we offer two package of the COVID test kit for customer. So we are doing our share and making our effort to defeating the pandemic. Of course the technology [unclear] difficulty because—and we all know under the, in Queens, a lot of people or family still under the poverty level. And some of them, they don't have the internet at home. But mainly, this is a technical step, or technical issue. Otherwise our team is very great. I know her because she, starting from almost her elementary school, three, I mean third grade or fourth grade, she enjoyed starting from our children room to our teen room. And then they—she enjoyed all the programs. She borrowed a lot of books. And then she told me one day, a few years ago, she got the admission from the Columbia University. [unclear] top university. And then just after the pandemic, about three weeks ago, she came back. I met her on the main lobby. She told me she just graduated from the Columbia University and she go to the graduate school in Harvard. [They're immigrants] from all the variety of the, around the world, South Africa, Asia, Africa. And when they came here, they started ESOL class here. And the beauty is that after ESOL classes, we offer them, [it's] called a job interview, mock job interview, and we refer to another organization. Almost—most of them get the job. So, and then—it's really, really like the whole step, how [they're immigrants to] America and how to melt into American society, the mainstream, and enjoy their life and their new life in America. And we need to get more resource, the staffing level, we need to enhance [unclear] and we need to have more books on our shelf and more technology for serving our community.
