I would like to start first by introducing myself as the host of this podcast. My name is David and I am a current junior at Francis Lewis High School. This is my 4th year working with Queens Public Library. It is a pleasure for me to be a part of the library’s advisory board. This is the first podcast I will be conducting and hopefully many more in the future. But about the podcast, it will be centered around the ordinary day for a student during quarantine. I would like everyone to take a brief moment and remember any reactions you may have seen on television and other social networks. I believe that it is safe to say that most of the reactions we have seen come from adults holding government positions, first responders, and workers. What we are missing are the reactions from students which is rarely seen anywhere and I would like to take this moment and highlight the obstacles that students face on a day-to-day basis. At this point, you might know that I am going to interview a student today. His name will be Ethan who is a very good friend of mines. He also goes to Francis Lewis High School. Without further ado, lets welcome Ethan!\n\n","format":"text/plain"},"target":"https://queenslibrary.aviaryplatform.com/collections/943/collection_resources/46050/file/119106#t=0.0,87.0"},{"id":"https://queenslibrary.aviaryplatform.com/collections/943/collection_resources/46050/file/119106/transcript/30527/annotation/2","type":"Annotation","motivation":"transcribing","body":{"type":"TextualBody","value":"\nEthan Lee: Wassup guys? So I think my daily routine personally is very similar to what regular, all students should have. So normally I wake up around like latest at 8:30, depending on when my classes start. So I'll eat lunch, then go back to class again, wrap up like my last few classes and probably right after school. I would probably start homework as fast as possible. After homework I'll usually try to study for some classes that I really needed and join. And all probably do some SAT prep if I like, if I like feel like it, you know what I mean?
