Professor Rodberg’s devotion to Judaism, study of the biblical prophets and the significance of world peace, gave him strong values for social justice. Professor Rodberg had the opportunity to work with President John Kennedy’s Administration, Science and Bureau, in the Arms Control Disarmament Agency. While working with the agency he implemented policies around the issue of Arms Control Conservation to maintain a safer environment for the United States of America.\u003cspan\u003e  \u003c/span\u003eHis interest in public policies caused him to embark on a path to Urban Studies at Queens College. He became the Chair for the Department of Urban Studies.
