The Queens Memory Project is documenting the history of activism in LGBTQ communities in Queens. This project began with an exhibit produced by the LaGuardia & Wagner Archives at LaGuardia Community College, commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Queens Pride Parade in 2017. The volunteers recruited from that time have continued their outreach and interviews, helping to preserve and document this rich civil rights movement.
